- Measure the cylinder bore. Need to do this to figure out the piston/bore wear and ensure it's within spec.
- Measure valve guide diameters -- to ensure everything is within spec.
- Clean
- Get quote for replacement parts
- Order parts
- Back together again!

#3 is pretty much the one part I can understand and sorry I can't be there to help clean the years of crud off that baby. Nice to see you moved the picture of the little mule to the top of the blog, proud and majestic.
